Four men have been indicted on charges of first degree murder for a failed robbery attempt that left a 20-year-old Sioux Falls man dead. And a fifth man is also in custody.
Austin Kenneth Hogan of Hartford turned himself into police at noon Monday. He was indicted on charges of first-degree burglary and attempted first-degree robbery.
Court documents reveal Brian David Anderson, 18, faces charges of first degree premeditated murder and attempted first-degree robbery in connection to Jordan LeBeau's death. LeBeau was killed during a failed robbery attempt in his northwest Sioux Falls home on December 2. His father, Jason LeBeau, was also shot during the incident, but survived. Anderson pleaded not guilty in court on Monday.
Trevor Kruthoff, 17, of Watertown, Kevin James Rice and Douglas Scholten, 20, of Dell Rapids are also charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, first-degree burglary, attempted first-degree robbery and commission of a felony with a firearm. They're expected to make their court appearances this week.
Court documents don't reveal Hogan's connection to the robbery or burglary.
A funeral service for LeBeau was held this morning in Hartford.
