A former South Dakota State University employee faces five felony charges, after police say she used a co-worker's identity to steal more than 35-thousand dollars.
Kari Fuks was arrested earlier this month.
Court documents show the 38-year-old obtained the social security number of a secretary she worked with in the chemistry department.
She used that information to open three credit cards.
The victim learned of the theft, after running a credit report.
Fuks husband, Matt, served as the University's Alumni Association President but is no longer with the organization.
The Alumni Association is not commenting on the case.
