Posted: Updated:

The Sioux Falls school board is moving forward with $45 million in construction projects at schools across the district.

The list includes 17 different schools, including Southeast Technical Institute. Eleven of the schools will see additional security upgrades.  At many schools, that requires expansion of the main entrance of the building and modifying the entrance access for increased security.

The Southeast Technical Institute project will construct a new facility on the south end of campus. The facility will be approximately 75,000 square feet in size. It will house Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, and Hospitality Management. It will also have an auditorium and administrative area.
