Working to restore water to Clear Lake

Posted: Updated:

Crews in Clear Lake fixed a water main break Tuesday night.

City Superintendent Don Ebbers says people should boil their water before using it - just to be on the safe side - until Wednesday night when all the testing is finished.

Crews have been working on fixing the break since early Tuesday morning and are still working to fill in the hole. They won't get it fully filled in until Wednesday, because of a natural gas line that runs near it.

The Watertown Walmart donated bottled water to Clear Lake. The fire department and emergency crews took it to the hospital and the nursing homes Tuesday night.

If you need water, call the Sheriff's department at 605-874-8212.
