Three injured in crash south of Brandon

Posted: Updated:

Three people are injured after a crash south of Brandon.

It happened Thursday night just before 6:00 on Highway 42. That's about two miles east of Willow Run Golf Course.

Trooper Nicholas Jensen with the South Dakota Highway Patrol tells KSFY News that three vehicles were involved.

Jensen says vehicle #1 crossed the center line, colliding with vehicle #2. Vehicle #1 spun and was T-boned by vehicle #3.

The woman driving vehicle #1 is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Two other people were injured as well. Ten people were riding in the three vehicles.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Jensen tells KSFY News road conditions are mostly normal in Minnehaha County Thursday night, with a few scattered slippery spots.

This is the same stretch of road where 18-year-old Meg Raj Gajmer died in a collision January 20.
