Tire spikes used in Lincoln Co. car chase

Tire spikes were used to end a car chase in Lincoln county early Thursday morning.
Lincoln County Sheriff's Office say the chase started  Lennox in about 2:30 a.m.
A deputy attempted to pull over a car near the intersection of 4th St. and Highway 17, but the driver sped up, heading north on Highway 17.
Deputies used tire spikes at one point in the chase, but the car continued to drive another 10 miles, making it to the intersection of 271st St. and 468th Ave. near the outskirts of Tea.
Lincoln County Sheriff's say the suspect, an 18-year-old from Lennox, was wanted for probation violations.
Speeds in the chase never surpassed 75 miles per hour.

Authorities have not yet released what charges the suspect is facing.
