If you haven't made reservations to one of the fancy restaurants in town for Friday, Valentine's Day, chances are you aren't going to eat there.
Jessica Kerher, creator of Serendipitous Events by Jessica, joined us this morning with a few ideas.
One thing you can do is make a "tablescape" -- a spread of items with a common theme. For example, you can make toast, pancakes, or even eggs into heart shapes. This is easily done by using a cookie cutter.
Another simple thing you can do for Valentine's Day is to use your china and nice plates. The fancy dinnerware adds a little flare to the food. This morning, Jessica brought in cupcakes and doughnuts on fine china with little flags in them to add to the presentation.
Jessica said if you need ideas, you can get them off Pinterest and scale them down to what you want.
