Spring is 34 days away, and people in Aberdeen are ready for it. Wind causing blowing snow has been a common occurrence this winter. If temperatures don't warm up, this could be one of Aberdeen's top ten coldest winters.
This month in Aberdeen, the temperature has averaged just below 0, and that's 15 degrees below normal. Many people have to work outdoors, and this weather makes it tough. Vaughn Kary is a car salesman at Pierson Ford Lincoln, and he is outside on a regular basis.
"There's times when you go 'oh my goodness,' when there's somebody way out on the other end of the lot, and they get out of the vehicle," says Kary. "You just gut it out, go out and talk to them and say, 'hey let's go in to my desk where it's warm and we'll sit down and talk there.'"
Kary said when it snows they have to clean off all the vehicles, and that takes up to 6 hours.
