HURON, S.D. –The South Dakota State Fair and Legend Seeds announce a performance by ALABAMA as a part of their All American Tour 2014 on Friday, Aug. 29.
"We are excited and proud to welcome ALABAMA and their All American Tour 2014 to the South Dakota State Fair," said state fair manager, Jerome Hertel. "ALABAMA is a legend in the country music world so when we knew we had the opportunity to bring them to the State Fair, we had to take advantage of it. They will bring a lot of energy with their performance and put on a great show."
ALABAMA found success in the 1980s with their youthful energy. Their number one single "Tennessee River" was the first in a string of 27 number one singles. Other hits include, "If You're Gonna Play in Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band)," "Song of the South" and "Mountain Music".
