Three hurt in Sioux Falls crash

Posted: Updated:

Three people were hurt Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash.

Sioux Falls Police arrived at the intersection of 57th Street and Southeastern Avenue around 2:30. One car was fully engulfed in flames.

Investigators say that 23-year-old Adam Lind was driving a Corvette eastbound on 57th Street at a high rate of speed. He collided with a westbound Lincoln that was turning left onto Southeastern Avenue.

The Corvette ended up off the road and started on fire. Lind was pulled out by a witness.

The driver of the Lincoln, her passenger and Lind were all taken to a Avera-McKennan with non-life-threatening injuries.

Criminal charges against Adam Lind are pending as the investigation continues.
