Snow makes for tricky evening commute in Sioux Falls
Monday's wintry weather made for a treacherous evening commute.
The roads in Sioux Falls and on the interstates are snow packed and slippery. As of 5:00 p.m. Interstate 29 was partially ice covered. Roads were less than ideal for drivers Monday afternoon. Further north of Sioux Falls, road conditions were bad enough that a KSFY news crew was only able to drive about 45 miles per hour on the interstate.
KSFY Senior Meteorologist Phil Schreck says the snow should taper off in eastern South Dakota by 10pm.
