We're just four weeks away from the healthcare marketplace deadline.
And some people put off signing up because many of us tend to procrastinate.
But there are a variety of reasons why someone may have waited until now.
Not everyone is a procrastinator.
Some people might not realize there is a cut-off date to sign up for health insurance through the marketplace.
And others, might not have needed to worry about getting coverage until now.
"Jill" said "it's the first time ever that I've been without insurance, and I want to get it. something. and we have to."
But "Jill" never expected to find herself in this position.
"I worked construction but I didn't work this last season and I had insurance through my construction and that ran out in October, and I need insurance," "Jill" said.
That will soon change, with the help of her Healthcare.gov navigator Emily Gross.
"I'm finding it's a lot easier for people if they're actually in my office and we're sitting and conversing about what's out there as far as options for insurance," Gross said.
Jill had hoped there were other options for her before the March 31st deadline.
"I don't quite know where I'm going yet I haven't gotten another job or anything. See, I was going to get another job and hopefully get on their insurance but I don't have a job yet. It's a very scary feeling," "Jill" said.
Not for Emily though, helping others get insurance gives her a different feeling.
"Some of these people have never had health insurance so the simple questions like 'so I can go to a doctor now, I can get a mammogram now, I can... something I've been putting off for years, I can do that and it will be ok?' Absolutely, it's a great feeling," Gross said.
"I'm grateful to all the help. I didn't realize I had to have it by the 31st," "Jill" added.
