Sioux Falls Police are investigating a home where six gun shots were fired early Friday morning.
Police responded to a 911 call from a neighbor just after 1:00am Friday who heard the shots at 209 N Dogwood Place in Sioux Falls.
No one was injured in the shooting. Police say the investigation into the scene and suspects is still ongoing.
Neighbors at the scene say the occupants of the home in question moved in less than six months ago. The next door neighbor said the occupants are younger and that there was a lot of traffic coming in and out of the house at all hours of the day or night.
For people in the neighborhood, waking up to shots fired in the middle of the night is a very scary situation.
"It's definitely nerve racking, I mean there is an elementary school right across the street here and I don't have kids or anything but I'm sure for people who have families it's ridiculous," said neighbor Josh Gilbertson.
Police still had the street in front of the home blocked off to local traffic at 7:00am Friday morning to protect the crime scene and continue the investigation.
