Missing Woonsocket woman's house vandalized

Posted: Updated:

The Sanborn County Sheriff's office reports the home of a missing Woonsocket woman was discovered vandalized Sunday night.

Sheriff Tom Fridley says someone broke a window but family members tell him nothing appears to have been stolen from the home of 30-year-old Rachel Cyriacks.

Vandals spray painted the phrase "riverside forever" on the front of her house. Fridley says they haven't determined the meaning of that message or if there is a connection to her disappearance.

Sanborn County law enforcement has no new clues in this case.

Cyriacks was last seen in mid-November, but was not reported missing until more than a month later.

Police describe Cyriacks as white woman, 5' 5", weighing approximately 140 pounds, with blonde/brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a tattoo on the left side of her neck and tattoos on her right forearm.

If you have any information to the whereabouts of Rachel Cyriacks please contact the Sanborn County Sheriff's Office at 605-796-4511.
