Gas prices up in South Dakota

Posted: Updated:

South Dakota’s average price at the pump is up 2 cents from last week and almost 15 cents from one year ago.

“Ongoing geopolitical tensions between Russia and Ukraine remain a primary reason for crude oil prices remaining elevated, which has contributed to higher gas prices,” Marilyn Buskohl, spokeswoman for AAA South Dakota, said. “However, the nation has healthy supplies on hand and demand is down for now.”

Today’s national average price at the pump is $3.69 per gallon.
