Does It Work? Chop Magic

Nancy continues her series Does It Work? Testing "As Seen on TV" Products.

Chop Magic claims to be the fast and easy way to slice and dice vegetables and fruit. There are 3 easy steps: snap on blade, place food on the blade and push down and store inside.

Live on the Morning Show Shawn and I tested several things. The zucchini, squash, and small potatoes (even whole) worked like a charm. The yellow pepper did cut as cleanly and got stuck in the apparatus in the lid, but I may have had a too big of portion. I used an entire half. Half a tomato also proved to be messy. It squirted out the side, but Shawn said he hesitated instead of giving it all his force. The kiwi didn't work at all. I think it's just too soft, even though they showed it in the commercial.

Overall, I really like this product. It really is easy and fast. You can store your food in the container and it's dishwasher safe. It's $19.95 and you can find it at several retailers. It does work!!
