Roosevelt High School students charged for drugs, weapons

Two students were charged after a police sweep of Roosevelt High School.

Drug dogs were brought the check the school's parking lot. Officers found marijuana in a 17-year-old's car. He was charged with possession and paraphernalia.

One of the dogs drew attention to another car in the lot. No drugs were found, but four knives -- including one with an 18-inch blade -- were found in the car.

That 18-year-old student was charged with having a weapon on school grounds.
