The Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire (HBASE) will host the 2014 Spring Parade of Homes™ from May 10-12 & 17-19. More than 75 newly constructed homes will be showcasing some of the hottest trends in the home building industry.
More than 45 home builders have been working around the clock to get these homes ready for the event. Shoppers may tour homes for free, located throughout Sioux Falls, Harrisburg, Brandon, Lake Madison and Tea.
Parade homes range in price from less than $135,000 to more than $1,000,000. Homes will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Mondays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Directional maps are available in the May issue of the official event publication, Home Ideas Magazine.
Consumers may visit with the builders and suppliers first hand to check out the latest trends in new construction and see what's popular for this year.
Some unique products that can be seen in the Parade homes include: concrete countertops; oil finished wood flooring; wine cellar; in-floor heat in lower level; sunroom attached to a cedar covered porch; four season room with back-to-back fireplaces; and a deconstructed portion of the home for energy efficient learning purposes.
The Parade of Home is sponsored in part by Thornton Flooring Outlet, Scott's Lumber & Supply and First National Bank in Sioux Falls and Sands Drywall, Inc., Truss-Pro's, Inc. and Dacotah Bank.
