Police arrest teens using vacant home to party

Posted: Updated:

A number of teens were arrested last night after a neighbor spotted them partying in a vacant house in central Sioux Falls.

The house on the 200 block of S. Summit Avenue is vacant, and police say the juveniles were using it as a location to drink alcohol. A number of windows were found broken, but police aren’t sure if the teens were responsible for the vandalism.

Officers took the suspects to the Juvenile Detention Center, and they face burglary and underage consumption charges.
