Tea district seeking input before fourth bond vote

Posted: Updated:
The Tea School District is one step closer to having a new elementary school.

The school board passed a resolution tonight -- allocating no more than $5.2 million in capital outlay funds to build an elementary on the north side of the district, set to open in fall of 2015.

As for the district's other construction plans -- there may be another bond vote. But the board would like to hear more feedback from voters.

Neighbors are encouraged to contact school board members or voice their concerns next week at Tea Pot Days.

If a bond issue is agreed upon, voters will likely see that ballot in September.
