South Dakota Highway Patrol says a Hetland, S.D, man died in a one-vehicle crash about near Arlington Saturday.

State troopers say Richard D. Rolsma, 59, was driving a 1987 Chevrolet Camaro when he lost control of the vehicle on a section of road where the pavement changed to gravel. The vehicle slid into the ditch and rolled. Rolsma was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.

The crash occurred just after 8:00 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of 450th Avenue and 203rd Street seven miles northwest of Arlington.

No further information is immediately available.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating. Kingsbury County Sheriff’s Office, Arlington Fire Department and Badger Fire Department assisted.
