Plymouth County officials confirmed Jonathan Neunaber was found in Lacrosse, Wisconsin waiting to be transported back to Plymouth County.

Neunaber is believed to have information related to two deaths in a rural Arkon, Iowa home.

According to Plymouth County Sherriff Mike Van Otterloo, Neunaber was stopped on a traffic violation.

Mr. Neunaber is being detained on material witness warrant, a no bond warrant.

The 2006 Buick the Akron man was driving is impounded and being processed by investigators.

Arrangements are being made to return Mr. Neunaber to Plymouth County.

Wednesday night, the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office got a call to the home at 17279 180th St. outside of Arkon.

"We were called by a relative of people living there. They had come to visit. When they entered the residence, they discovered the deceased,” said Van Otterloo.

Two bodies were found.

Officials say they determined the deaths not accidental or of natural causes but of a suspicious manner

"I can tell you it was a death that was violent, and other than that I’m not going to be specific,” said Van Otterloo.

The sheriff's office hasn't released the names of the individuals but say they were elderly people.

Neighbors of the residence say Donald and Esther Neunaber both in their 80s were living in the home.

The sheriff's office confirmed Thursday that 44 year old Jonathan Neunaber was living in the home as well.

Those who knew the family says Jonathan was the couple's son.

The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office said they estimate the time of the deaths within the last couple weeks.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and other officials are anticipated to be on the scene again Friday morning.

The Plymouth County Sherriff’s Office said the bodies have been taken to the state medical examiner's office for autopsy.
