Two suspects are in custody facing felony drug charges after the latest in a series of drug busts in Sioux Falls.

According to Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens, one suspect was caught when his Toyota Tundra was pulled over by police Wednesday. With the help of a K-9 Unit, officers discovered marijuana, cocaine residue, and $1,200 cash.

Police say Michael Glenn Moyer, 34, of Sioux Falls, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. A search warrant was issued for his house on the 2600 block of S. Kingswood Way. There, officers found six pounds of marijuana, two pounds of hash, three ounces of hash oil, seven guns, and $13,000 in cash.

Moyer and his wife, Rachael Marie Moyer, 34, of Sioux falls, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana 1-10lbs, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute, manufacturing controlled substance, and paraphernalia.

Clemens said the arrests are the result of an investigation that began after police received a tip on June 24th. The two-pound brick of has is one of the largest amount of has that Sioux Falls police have seen in a long time, according to Clemens.

Earlier this week, police seized seven pounds of marijuana from another series of drug busts.
