WELL, I GUESS DOGGIES HAVE DREAMS TOO.
My Golden does that. When he is awake he has a serious loud bark, but when he is asleep, it is a cute little puppy bark, but the growls sound still sound like his real adult dog growl. It is a funny combo. I don't know if it is a bad or good dream.

Our boxer, earnhardt does this too,..we always try to wake him...cries and yelps and snores..funny first few times hearing it..like yours
