Tornados

These two pictures are from the tornados spotted southwest of Brewster, MN at 3:30 PM on July 6, 2008. The spotters were called out at 3:10 PM to assist in watching for tornados.

There were three tornados hovering around our small community. The sirens were sounded twice in the city as Weather Spotters (Many are Volunteer Fireman) watched our town and reported in on the progression of the tornados as they loomed and moved towards our city. The city of Brewster was spared today. Hopefully as this system moves away other towns and people will be spared as well.

A huge thank you to all those Weather Spotters who are here for the city of Brewster day in and day out because of all your hard work and efforts we have a great response system in times such as these. You all are a great asset to our community.
