With any great moment in time, there must be a beginning and there must be an end. And so, as the waters gradually recede to safe levels on the banks of the Red River, the Fargo-Moorhead communities gather on Saturday, May 9, 2009 to celebrate not only the 5th Annual Fargo Marathon, but also the closure to the cities' and surrounding areas' two-month odyssey. The post-flood celebration, boldly titled "MIND OVER MILES, WILL OVER WATER," takes the communities of Fargo and Moorhead back to where it all began - the FargoDome - and helps find closure on this epic moment in the history of the Red River Valley.
