A friend of mine called me and said he was watching this light go across the sky for a couple minutes. It started in the south and slowly moved southeast. My initial thought was it is a plane or jet with it's landing light on but after I take a closer look, the light is really large. I zoomed out to prop my elbow on something to get a steady shot and it disappeared or faded away. It was an interesting site and on 09-09-09 too. Enjoy!!

that's cool that you got it on tape, this actually happened to me and a co worker Thursday night, we were on our smoke break looking up at the start and we noticed a bright light to the north we watched it for awhile then it just disappeared!

That's almost certainly the space station. I have watched the station pass overhead several times, and it's an unusual sight, especially when the shuttle is attached. It's about as bright as Venus, and can takes two or three minutes to cross the sky.

It was urine....yep that's right, I read that the space shuttle had dumped it's stuff in the sky......yuk, and they wonder why there is a new h1n1 flu going around.....

It was the Int'l space station that night. It is very bright when it passes almost overhead.
