1 hospitalized in Sioux Falls stabbing

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - Authorities say one person was hurt in a late-night stabbing in northeast Sioux Falls.

Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said the stabbing took place at a party around 9:30 p.m. Sunday at an apartment in the 4500 block of East Brennan Drive.

There was a disagreement between two men, and the suspect stabbed the 18-year-old victim several times in the back.

Clemens said the victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police have a suspect in mind but are still trying to locate him. No arrests have been made at this time.
