5-year-old suspicious death investigation still open

PENNINGTON COUNTY, S.D. (KSFY) - Five years ago, Meshell Will's body was found near Keystone. But the cause of her death still eludes investigators.

Meshell Will, 38, was last seen August 24, 2013 in Keystone. Nearly a week later, her body was found, badly decomposed off Iron Mountain Road.

The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance. The case is still open but there are no new leads. The sheriff's department believes there are people who have information that can help solve this case.

Will was 5’8”. She had brunette hair and was last seen wearing a t-shirt and capri-style sweatpants. She was originally from Wisconsin and had only been in Custer for about six months. She was last seen in the Keystone area, not far from where her body was found near the Pig Tail Bridge.
