$50,000 Powerball ticket sold in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS (KSFY) - Though it isn't the major jackpot, it looks like someone in the Sioux Falls area now has some extra cash thanks to the recent Powerball drawing.

According to South Dakota Lottery's Twitter account, a $50,000 ticket was sold at the Kum and Go on North Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls.

No other details about that winner are available at this point.

The big jackpot in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing was $758 million dollars. Lottery officials say the winning ticket was sold in Massachusetts. The winner has not been identified.

The lucky numbers for the second largest lottery prize in U.S. history were 6, 7, 16, 23 and 26, and the Powerball number was 4.
