52nd annual Sportsmen's Show will help you get ready for summer

The Sioux Empire Sportsmen's Show is a chance for sports enthusiasts to get out for a weekend and book a vacation, get more information on a boat, or learn about the latest technology for fishing.

The event kicks off Thursday evening and runs through Sunday. It's open Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It costs $10 for adults. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 are $2.50 and children under the age of 5 get in for free.

There are a lot of different exhibits at the 52nd show. People can find various information on resorts, loges, and camps from the Midwest and Canada. You can also check out a variety of different RVs, fishing boats, and pontoons at the show.

A live trout pond will be available for kids. You can also get some tips from two fishing pros, as well. Throughout the show, you can watch some ax throwing from the Great Lakes Timber Show from Escanaba, MI.
