SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Department will remove barricades and reopen the remaining parks that were closed due to recent flooding.
Clean-up efforts were completed in several parks and along sections of the bike trail system by city crews and community volunteers.
Small portions of the bike trail system are barricaded as they are still impacted by flood water and debris and remain closed to the public. Officials said will these areas will reopen as river levels recede enough to allow crews to safely complete cleanup efforts to the bike trail system and surrounding areas.
