Attorney: Sideras' computer hacked by former coworker

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - Court documents allege a coworker hacked into the computer of a former Sioux Falls Fire Rescue chief accused of possessing child pornography.

An attorney for Jim Sideras wants to introduce evidence at the former chief's trial about someone gaining access to his personal computer and altering it.

The defense now has until Friday to convince the court that the testimony should be admitted during the trial.

The state says that evidence could confuse the jury.

Sideras has pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of child pornography.
