McLaughlin, S.D. (KSFY) - Officials have identified the man killed in a single-vehicle crash in north central South Dakota.
Thirty-seven-year-old Joseph Summers was killed in a crash Wednesday morning four miles east of McLaughlin.
According to Department of Public Safety Tony Mangan, Summers was driving a 1999 Chevy Suburban on U.S. Highway 12 when he swerved into the other lane, overcorrected, and ending up crashing into the ditch and rolling several times.
Summers was thrown from the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt.
No one else was involved in the accident.
