(KSFY) - State officials have identified the two men killed in an accident near Renner.

Thirty-four-year-old Adam Hannon of Worthing, and 18-year-old Nathan Seivert of Renner were killed in Thursday's accident on Highway 115.

According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, Seivert was driving a 2009 Dodge pickup south when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with Hannon's 2002 Chevrolet pickup.

Both vehicles started on fire. Troopers say Hannon died in the fire.

Witnesses were able to get Seivert out of his pickup. He was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital, where he died of his injuries Friday morning.

Seatbelt use by either drive is still under investigation by the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
