SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - The Board of Historic Preservation has approved a proposal by Raven Industries to tear down buildings in downtown Sioux Falls.
The site near 6th Street and Phillips Avenue would be turned into a temporary parking lot.
Raven says the buildings once held historical value but no longer contribute to the district.
The move still needs approval from the State Historic Preservation Office and the Sioux Falls City Council.
