After a year off, a Christmas tradition is returning to the Western Mall in Sioux Falls.
The Christmas Light Show will return to the mall this holiday season. The show raises money for Make-A-Wish South Dakota.
Organizers say the show is located at the center court area, and features thousands of lights on a castle scene set to Christmas music. This year's display runs nightly from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The overall show sponsor is Scheels, along with several other area businesses who helped make the display possible including the Western Mall, Henry Carlson Construction and Great Western Bank. You can find out more at westernmallchristmas.com.
Free-will donations support Make-A-Wish South Dakota.
The show is organized by Joseph Noe, who originally had a show at his home in Crooks before it moved inside the Western Mall in 2010.
