SPENCER, IA - The Clay County Fair in Spencer, IA started on September 8th but runs through Sunday, September 16th. About 325,000 people visit the Clay County Fair every year.
The gates to the fair open at 7:00 AM every day. The buildings are open from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM. The outdoor vendors and ag marketplace are open from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
Regular admission is $10 for adults during the day but $6 for guests who get in the gates after 5:00 PM. Kids between the age of 8 and 12 cost $5 to get in. Kids under the age of 7 get in for free.
On Friday, all kids under the age of 18 get in the gates for free. On Sunday, adults can get in for $5 as a last chance day while kids ages 8 to 12 get in for $2.
The Grandstand will have Sesame Street Live! at 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Then, a Blood, Sweat & Tears concert will start at 6:30 PM on Sunday.
