Dakota Angler Ice Institute expected to draw in thousands of tourists

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Dakota Angler Ice Institute is Friday through Sunday at the Sioux Falls Arena. It's the 9th year for the show but the first time it will be at the arena. The South Dakota Department of Tourism expects visitors from 10 states to attend. It's the 4th largest ice fishing show in the United States. More than 60 vendors will be at the show throughout the weekend.

Several of the experts who will be talking are Brian Brosdahl, Brad Hawthorne, Jason Durham, and Dennis Kassube.

On Friday, the show will be open from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It costs $5 to get into the show. A raffle will be held throughout the weekend, and all of the money raised from it will go towards the Cure Kids Cancer initiative.
