Dakota Territory Gun Show held in Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls, SD (KSFY) One of the largest gun shows in the region was held in Sioux Falls this weekend.

The Dakota Territory Gun Collectors Association hosted the Trophy Gun show at the Sioux Falls Convention Center Saturday and Sunday.

Roughly 375 vendors from all over the country were in town to sell and showcase a variety of firearms; from antiques and collectibles to hunting and personal protection.

The gun show brings out thousands of people ever year.

“I think a lot of people come to the gun shows because they're not only interested in firearms, but they're interested in what’s going on in their country; a lot of people are interested in protecting their homes and protecting themselves," Gun Show Manager Rob Moore said.

Dakota Territory hosts 14 gun shows across North Dakota and South Dakota each year, but Moore says the Sioux Falls show is always the largest.
