Data repository created at Augustana for community researchers

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - A partnership between non-profit organizations in Sioux Falls announced the development of the Augustana Data Warehouse.

The data hub will provide data for employees of local government, businesses, and non-profits in the community who spend countless hours collecting and analyzing data.

A new site, Open Sioux Falls, will be a central repository for this information, which will give free and convenient access to important community information.

"Our goal is to be able to provide data so we can have informed decisions, so the resources we have we can do what's best for the people we serve," Augustana Director of Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Pam Homan said.

Beta testing of Phase I of the project is planned for late summer 2017.
