Downtown Sioux Falls Art & Wine Walk and May Eastbank Block Party

DOWNTOWN SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - More than 20 different locations are on tap for this year's first May Art & Wine Walk happening in downtown Sioux Falls.

This year a wide variety of artists are featured from painting to cake decorating.

Viewing the art and meeting the artists is entirely free and for $20 you will receive a punch card to enjoy ten samples of wine, or you can purchase by the glass for $5.

You can purchase the punch cards at any of the participating locations. The event kicks off tonight at 5:00 PM and goes until 8:00 PM.

But, the party doesn't end on Friday, on Saturday, you can head on over to 8th and Railroad for the first May Eastbank Block Party.

You can enjoy live music, food vendors, beer, wine, and shopping along the boardwalk.

Picnic tables will be provided, but feel free to bring a lawn chair.

It's also the 2nd annual Hops & Hondas Tour kickoff, all to raise money for Almost Home Canine Rescue, which is kicking off the block party.

There will be entertainment from CommonGround, Denham, and The Maytags.

The food trucks are Backyard Grill, Breaking Burrito, Gyros & More, Hunny & Bunny, and The SDSU Ice Cream Truck.

The event is completely free and goes from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
