Fitness Friday: ‘DEFINE: Sioux Falls’ offers challenging workouts, unique classes

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - ‘DEFINE: Sioux Falls’ opened the end of July. The studio offers some pretty unique classes and one that even involves a mini trampoline.

‘Bounce’ classes use a mini trampoline, light weights, and resistance bands for a 45-minute, high energy class which aims to burn fat. Revolution or ‘Rev’ is indoor cycling class which incorporates choreographed movements to high-energy music on a stationary bike for a full-body workout.

The ‘Mind-Hammock’ class is more restorative, focusing on lengthening the spine, improving flexibility, and creating an overall sense of balance. The class utilizes a hammock to help deepen stretches. The fitness studio also offers barre classes they call ‘Body’.

DEFINE: Sioux Falls owners Liz Blasius and Andrea O'Connor are sisters. Find the studio at 69th Street and Western Avenue inside of what's being called The Wedge. You can find a list of classes and their times here.
