Habitat for Humanity ReStore creates new tradition during holiday shopping season

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The employees at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be holding what they're calling Green Saturday, which will be held the day after Black Friday. It's a day where everything in the store is 25% off. If someone brings in an item to donate, then they will get a coupon for an extra 10% off. There will be a free hot dog lunch that will be served on a first come, first serve basis. That will begin at 12:00 PM.

The sale will be held from 9:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 25th. The ReStore is in Sioux Falls on East Amidon Street. Everything in the ReStore was donated by individuals, contractors, organizations or various companies. You can find furniture, kitchen appliances, building material, light fixtures, flooring, cabinets, or even working appliances.

All of the money that is raised at the ReStore goes to helping build houses by the Habitat for Humanity non-profit. The organization's goal is to help build shelter in local communities and around the world.
