(KSFY) - A poll of South Dakota Chamber of Commerce on the upcoming race for governor members favored Republican Marty Jackley.
The poll is a tradition when members of the Chamber gather at the state capital for Business Day at the state legislature. Members pick which gubernatorial candidate they would vote for if the election was held today as part of a non-scientific poll.
Jackley came in first this year with 60 percent of the vote. Republican congresswoman Kristi Noem came in second with 23 percent of the vote. State Senator Billie Sutton came in third with 17 percent.
Jackley also won the same poll last year, receiving 39 percent of the vote.
