JazzFest to be held this weekend in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - The annual Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues' JazzFest is this weekend.

The festival is a free, two-day event at Yankton Trail Park.

Headliners for JazzFest 2018 include Taj Mahal, Nikki Hill and Jimmie Vaughan. Other artist includes Mike Zito, Heather Gillis Band, Nick Moss Band feat. Dennis Gruenling, Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal and South Dakota’s own Jami Lynn.

Parking will be limited inside Yankton Trail Park. There will be a $10 fee per vehicle at the entrance on Minnesota Avenue. Officials recommend attendees arrive early, walk, use the shuttles (only $4 per person round trip) that are provided, take a Lyft, or ride their bike and utilize the bike valet provided by Spoke & Sport. There is direct access to the bike trails from within the park.

JazzFest Lyft rides will have a pickup/drop off location near the park exit in the Hegg Companies parking lot at 1300 W. 57th Street.

Shuttle times & locations are as follows:
Friday: 5 p.m.- 12:30 a.m. (Lincoln High School ONLY)
Saturday: 11 a.m. - 12:30 a.m. (Lincoln High School ONLY)

The festival will also provide a free kids area for children up to age 12. It will feature arts and crafts by the Washington Pavilion and JAM Art Supplies, as well as shows by CharActors into Saturday evening. There will be inflatable bounce houses on Friday and Saturday.
