SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - KSFY News recently moved into its new home in downtown Sioux Falls and left a lot of furniture and other items behind.
But the furniture will not go to waste.
For the past few weeks, Habitat for Humanity has been hauling the old furniture out of the 300 Building to sell at its restore.
The profits for these items will go towards building homes for people in need of better living conditions in the community.
And now, KSFY is inviting its viewers to give back too.
Staff at the Habitat for Humanity said donations from those in the community go a long ways in helping others, and is a great way to give back.
"We get a lot of support from the community, lots of great donations, lots of consideration, so we are grateful to be in a community where we have that support," Cody Fischer, operations manager for Habitat for Humanity, said.
This year, Habitat for Humanity will build nine homes in the Sioux Falls area.
