SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - According to the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office, two minimum security inmates escaped from the Minnehaha County Community Correction Center in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
William Calkins, pictured on the right, is charged with burglary in the 2nd degree and 2nd degree intentional damage to property. He was being held on a $1,000 cash bond.
Roy Hampton, who is pictured on the left, is charged with possession of a controlled drug in Minnehaha County. He is also charged with distribution or manufacturing of a controlled drug from McCook County. He is being held on a total of $5,525 bond.
The Sheriff's Office said both inmates escaped from the correction center on West Russell Street in Sioux Falls.
