Mitchell Olson reviews Washington Pavilion's "Cabaret" and "The Addams Family" at Augie

Mitchell Olson is constantly taking a look at the entertainment scene around the Sioux Empire. This week he reviews two productions going on in Sioux Falls.

First, 'Cabaret' is at the Washington Pavilion from April 24-26. It's at 7:30 every night in the Mary W. Sommervold Hall.

According to the Washington Pavilion's website, the production is "Based on Roundabout Theatre Company’s Tony Award®-winning production, SAM MENDES (Skyfall, American Beauty) and ROB MARSHALL’S (“Into the Woods” and “Chicago,” the films)

Next, Olson checked out 'The Addams Family Musical' put on by students at Augustana University in Sioux Falls.

The musical comedy is based on the book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. It is showing 7:30 p.m. on April 25-28 and at 2:30 p.m. on April 29 in the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre on campus.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (65+), and free for students K-12 and those with a valid Augustana ID.
