(Newsdakota.com) - The mother of a 4-month-old child found dead in Stutsman County, North Dakota last Saturday is currently being held at the Stutsman County Correctional Center.
Justice Maxine Lange, 25, is being held in jail for various outstanding warrants and unpaid Jamestown Municipal Court Fines. She was transported from a Fargo hospital to the correctional center Monday night.
Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser reported that Lange was hospitalized while officials conducted a search for her missing 4-month-old baby. Lange informed authorities that she could not recollect the previous four days or where she had left the baby. T
he body was found Saturday afternoon near a slough in rural Stutsman County.
Sheriff Kaiser says charges are pending from the Stutsman County State's Attorney and autopsy results.
